Symptoms
Appearance of copper coloured, elevated pimples in a circular or ring form on the skin with itching is known as Dadru.
Single Drugs
1. Mix powdered rhizome of Haridra (turmeric) 1 g. in 100 ml. Gomutra (cows urine) and take three times a day.
Treatment
External Applications
1. Lepa prepared from the seed of Cakramarda (foetid cassia) in the juice (Svarasa) of Mulaka (radish) is to be applied on Dadru.
2. Lepa prepared from the bark of Sigru (horse-radish) in the Svarasa (juice) of Mulaka (radish) is to be applied on Dadru.
3. Lepa prepared from the leaf ofAragvadha (cassia) in Kaji is to be applied on Dadru.
4. Lepa prepared from the equal part of seeds of Vidanga, Sarsapa (mustard) and Cakramarda (foetid cassia), root of Kusha (kooth), rhizome of Haridra (turmeric) and Saindhava (rock-salt) in sour curd is to be applied on Dadru.
5. Lepa prepared from the equal part of whole plant of Durva (doob grass), fruit rind of Haritaki (chebulic myrobalan), Saindhava (rock-salt), seed of Cakramarda (foetid cassia), leaf of Tulasi (sacred basil) in Takra (butter milk) is to be applied on Dadru.
6. Lepa of equal part of Majisha (madder), Triphala, Laksa (lac), rhizome of Haridra (turmeric) and Gandhaka (sulphur), prepared in its double quantity of Sarsapa Taila (mustard oil) is to be applied on Dadru.
