Sensitive tooth - Danta Men Kia Lagana
Symptoms Vitiation of Pitta causes abscess in the ear leading to pus formation and this condition is known as Kara-Paka.
Treatment
Drops for the Ear
1. Prepare taila by Taila Paka method from the Sarsapa Taila (mustard oil) 200 ml. and juice of fresh root of Haridra (turmeric)-50 ml. its 2 to 4 drops to be instilled in the affected ear twice in a day.
2. Svarasa (juice) of barks of Vaa (banyan), Pipala, Udumbara (fig), Parasapipala and Plaksa and prepare Ghrta by Ghrta Paka method. its 2 to 4 drops to be instilled in the affected ear twice a day.
3. Dust the affected ear with find powder of Sphaika (alum) 0.12 g. and instill 2 to 4 drops of Naridugdha (human milk).
Local Applications
1. Take fine powder of equal part of Mukta (pearl), Maikya (ruby) and Suddha Gairika (purified ochre) and grind in milk to which ghee is added. Apply it as cold Lepa.
2. Wash the ear with freshly milched unboiled milk.
3. Wash the ear with decoction of barks of Vaa (banyan), Pipala, Plaksa and Parasapipala.
