Symptoms
increase in temperature, constipation, loss of appetite, nausea, eructation, thirst, headache, fainting, laziness, fatigue, giddiness, emotional inhibition etc. are general signs are symptoms of Bala Jvara.


Treatment
For dose please consult the table where the doses for children of different ages are described (Table 3).

Simple Preparations

1. saangapaniya: it is to be given frequently.

2. Decoction of equal part of root of Mustaka (motha), fruit rind of Haritaki (chebulic myrobalan), leaf of Paola (a variety of small cucumber-snake gourd) and root of Yasimadhu (glycyrrhiza), to be taken thrice a day.

Compound Preparations

1. Balacaturbhadra Cura: it is to be taken with honey thrice a day.

2. Godanti Bhasma: it is to be taken with honey, Dugdha (milk) or Ghrta (ghee) twice a day.

External Applications

1. Laksadi Taila for massage.
