Symptoms
Distension of abdomen, loss of appetite, indigestion, retention of flatus and faeces, weakness, fatigue, difficulty in walking, oedema, burning sensation and torpor are the general signs and symptoms of Udara Roga. in addition to these, followings are the specific signs and symptoms of Dosaja Udara Roga.
1. Vatodara: Dry cough, constipation, oedema over hands and feet, sounds in the intestine and resonant sound on percussion are the signs and symptoms of Vatodara.
2. Pittodara: Fever, burning sensation, giddiness, fainting, diarrhea, thirst, soft abdomen on palpation and tendency to suppurate are the signs and symptoms of Pittodara.
3. Kaphodara: Oedema, heaviness in the body, excessive sleep, loss of appetite, nausea, cough, dyspnoea and firm and cold abdomen on palpation are the signs and symptoms of Kaphodara.
4. Saanipatodara: it occurs due to slow poisoning. Emaciation, anaemia, frequent fainting, dryness in the mouth are the main signs and symptoms of Sannipatodara.
