Symptoms
Generally, people with eczema symptoms suffer from dry, sensitive skin. Eczema is also known for its intense itch. The itch may be so bad that you scratch your skin until it bleeds, which can make your rash even worse, leading to even more inflammation and itching. This is called the itch-scratch cycle.
Treatment
Absolute cleanliness of the part is necessary.
External Applications
1. Lepa of equal part of Hingu (asafoetida), bark of Khadira (catechu) and leaf of Nimba is to be applied on the affected part.
2. Lepa of equal part of Suddha Tuttha, Suddha ankaa (purified borax) in the Svarasa (juice) or decoction of rhizome of Haridra (turmeric) is to be applied on the affected part.
3. Dust affected part with fine powder of bark of Nimba and Triphala.
4. Wash the affected part with the decoction of Triphala or decoction of leaf of Nimba or neem soap.
