Symptoms
Twisting of one half of the face including neck towards the normal side, trembling of the head, impairment of voice, tremor, stiffness or pain in the neck, inability to close the eye or to show the teeth of the affected side are the main signs and symptoms of Ardita.
Treatment
Single Drugs
1. Kalka of Bulb of Rasona (garlic) 4 g. to be taken with 12 g. butter twice a day.
Simple Preparations
1. Kalka of bulb of Rasona (garlic) fried in Tila Taila is to be taken in 6 to 12 g. dose twice a day.
2. Masa of Vaaka followed by 100 to 250 ml. milk and 14 to 28 ml. decoction of DaSamula to be taken twice a day.
3. Meat soup followed by 14 to 28 ml. decoction of DaSamula to be taken twice a day.
Compound Preparations
1. Samirapannaga Rasa: 60 to 120 mg. to be taken with honey to make a paste twice in a day.
Foment with a hot leaf prepared from Masa (black phaseolus bean) and bandage the affected parts. Milk diet or liquid diet is useful.
