Symptoms
As soon as a fly bites, a discharge oozes from the site of bite and a swollen bluish vesicle develops which is full of burning sensation and irritation. in case of excessive bite the person may have high fever and becomes unconscious.
Treatment
External Applications
Lepa (plaster) of any of the following preparations may be applied at the site of the bite.
1. Lepa of bark of Sirisa in water.
2. Lepa of soil drawn from Valmika (anthill) in Gomutra (cow's urine).
3. Lepa of equal part of leaf of Paola (a variety of small cucumber-snake gourd) and root of Nimba in water.
4. Lepa of equal part of bark of drugs of Pacaksiri in water.
