Symptoms
Dry feet are generally a symptom of another problem, and if you have dry feet you may experience additional symptoms such as: Itchiness. Redness. Cracks in the feet (fissures) Rough skin. Flaky skin. Peeling skin. Rash (usually brought on by itching) Problem worsens in winter months


Treatment
Single Drugs

1. Svarasa (juice) of fresh leaf of Krsa Tulasi (black basil) 7 to 14 ml. is to be taken with 4 to 6 g. honey, twice a day.

2. Powdered wood of Aguru (eagle) 1 g. is to be taken with 4 to 6 g. honey twice a day.

3. Powdered fruit of Marica (black pepper) 1 g. is to be taken with 5 to 10 g. ghee and 4 to 6 g. honey, twice a day.

Simple Preparations

1. Siddha Ghrta prepared with the decoction or Svarasa (juice) of Draksa (raisin or grape fruit) 12 to 24 g. is to be taken twice a day.

2. Siddha Ghrta prepared with the decoction of fruit pulp ofAragvadha (cassia) 12 to 24 g. is to be taken twice a day.

3. Siddha Ghrta prepared with the decoction of bark of Lodhra 12 to 24 g. is to be taken twice a day.

4. Take 12 to 24 g. of fresh bark of Badara, make Kalka (paste), and fry in ghee, Add 1 g. of Saindhava (rock-salt) and take twice a day.

5. Boil fruit rind ofAmalaki (embelic myrobalan) 1 part in milk 4 parts, and grind, 12 to 24 ml. of the ground drug is to be taken with 12 to 24 g. of ghee twice a day.

6. Prepare Ghrta by Ghrta Paka method by adding double of its weight of fruit juice of Daima (pomegranate), equal parts of powdered Suhi (dried ginger), fruit juice ofAmalaki (embelic myrobalan) and powdered Marica (black pepper) and 1/16 part of powdered fruit of Pippali (long pepper). it is to be taken in 12 to 24 g. dose twice a day.

7. Draksadi Cura: 600 to 850 mg. is to be taken with honey twice a day.

Compound Preparations

1. Dhanvantara Guika: 1 g. is to be taken three times a day with warm water.

2. Compound preparations given under Suska-Kasa andArdra Kasa may also be given in the Jira Kasa according to the condition of the patient.
